Vikings will return next year on Netflix. The platform has unveiled the release date of Vikings: Valhalla, the spin-off of the series created by Michael Hirst: this spin-off show will be online on February 25, 2022 on Netflix.
Netflix has also unveiled the first photos of the series created by Jeb Stuart, which prove that we should find the fighting and bloody spirit of the original show, especially since Michael Hirst is a producer of this spin-off. The episodes are directed by Niels Arden Oplev, Danish BAFTA award-winning director, Steve Saint Leger who has already directed several episodes of the first series and Hannah Quinn.
Vikings: Valhalla is set 100 years after the first Vikings and tells the story of their descendants, including the legendary Leif Eriksson, Freydis Eiriksdottir, Harald Sigurdsson and William the Conqueror, men and women willing to do anything to survive in a changing Europe.
